History of our Community:

In 2003, Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church began offering a monthly Polish Mass, a reflection of the growing Polish community in Las Vegas. Over time, the John Paul II Polish School was established to preserve and teach the Polish language, traditions, and culture to the younger generation. In 2011, the Piast Polish Dance Company was founded, further uniting community members through dance. Our rich folklore continues to flourish, with unwavering support from the OLLV Parish.

Unite. Share. Grow.

History of the Polish Las Vegas Festival:

Inspired by one of our parish priests, Father Richard Philiopski, the concept of a Polish festival came to life in 2019. With the collaborative efforts of Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church and our community, preparations for the festival commenced. Led by the Pawlowski family, this collective endeavor resulted in our inaugural Polish Festival held on May 18, 2019.

Our debut festival was a resounding success, showcasing our culture through dance, music, and delicious cuisine. It proudly earned the Silver accolade, securing second place in the Best Food and Drink Festival category in the 2019 Best of Las Vegas Review Journal Poll.

Unfortunately, the following year, plans for the subsequent festival were halted due to the global COVID pandemic that paused events worldwide. However, with new growth and revitalized efforts, we hosted our 2nd Annual Polish Festival on April 22, 2023, followed by PIEROGI DAY on April 19, 2024. We eagerly anticipate welcoming everyone back for our 3rd Annual Polish Festival on May 3, 2025, and invite you to join us for food, fun, and of course, Polish beer!

              Zapraszamy!
